Founded by Yetunde Oyebanke OYEWO, Bavic Sewing Accessories was born from a deep passion for sewing and a relentless drive for innovation. Yetunde’s journey began at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where she studied Geography and Geographic Information Systems—two research-intensive fields that fueled her curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Her love for fashion design started during her undergraduate years, driven by the desire to create well-fitted garments. While in fashion school, she realized that traditional sewing methods could be improved. Through extensive research, she discovered game-changing sewing tools that made sewing faster and more precise. Her classmates quickly noticed her efficiency and stunning results, constantly asking, “How do you finish so fast and get such clean work?” When she shared her secret and started sourcing tools for them, Bavic Sewing Accessories was born.
