Description
The Emel Direct Drive EM M2 Industrial Straight Sewing Machine is a single-needle lockstitch machine designed for professional tailoring, garment production, and general sewing applications. Its built-in direct-drive servo motor is mounted directly to the machine head, eliminating the need for a traditional external belt and clutch motor.
The direct-drive design helps provide lower noise, reduced vibration, and improved energy efficiency. It can save approximately 70% to 75% of electricity compared with traditional clutch motor systems, making it suitable for workshops using inverters or smaller generators.
The machine is designed to handle a broad range of fabrics, from lightweight materials such as chiffon, silk, and cotton to medium and heavier materials including denim, wool, and leather. Its digital control panel allows the sewing speed to be adjusted according to the user’s needs, providing better control for detailed work as well as faster production.
An integrated LED work light illuminates the needle area for better visibility, while the built-in thread cutter adds convenience and helps speed up the sewing process.
